Whether you have a number of complex workflows set up, don’t have the time resources to figure out yourself how to migrate your commands, or want to use this necessity to review your workflows and correct redundancies and inefficiencies, with the Butler Migration Service you can get started on this transition.
What does “Migration” mean?
Migration means, that commands created with the ButlerBot and stored visibly in a Trello board (most often in the Butler list), need to be rebuild with the Butler Power-Up. The ButlerBot command is then being removed from board.
But migration is more than this. The Butler Power-Up works a bit differently than the ButlerBot.
The ButlerBot had features that the new Butler Power-Up cannot keep up with. Not yet. There are still features missing in the Butler Power-Up which could postpone some migration activities.
On the other hand, the Butler Power-Up now has a number of possibilities that were not available within the ButlerBot.
Therefore, it is important to look at workflow commands holistically.
Sometimes, new results can be achieved by setting things up differently.
And sometimes, a different approach opens up new possibilities, making a process work again and allow you to get things done in ways not foreseen.
The Butler Migration Service takes this into consideration. In this consultation, I make use of my extensive knowledge of variables, user variables and other advanced Butler features to help you to set up the best workflow solution possible.
How the Butler Migration Service Works
Step 1 and 2 are part of this Butler Migration Service.
Step 1: Send me screenshots of the all commands you want to migrate and require assistance with. Please make sure that those commands used in a workflow together, are clustered. Provide explanatory information when necessary.
Step 2: I will have a look and in a phone or video session (30 min max.) we will discuss your priorities and how to get started with the migration.
To send the screenshots through, please use the email address mentioned in the order confirmation mail for the Butler Migration Service.
If we both decide to move on with migrating your commands, that would be the next step:
Step 3: Depending on the access rights level of your Trello boards, I either migrate the commands for you or I send you a documentation / instructions how to migrate the commands – or, recommend steps to take instead.
I make use of my extensive knowledge of variables, user variables and other advanced Butler features to help you to set up the best workflow solution possible.
If the time and effort required for migrating your workflows can be somewhat clearly quantified, I recommend you purchase one of my tech hour bundles. If workflow audit and customization is a larger project, we can discuss details in our phone or video session.
